Hello and Welcome to our site! My name is Chonda Cannon-Burke, RN and Director at Center for Little Angels. I am elated that you have taken the time to visit our site to see all the wonderful and exciting things we have in store for your child! Please read "Our Story" below to learn about where we started and where we're going. Our Story

The Center for Little Angels is a family owned and operated non-profit childcare center that has served the Greater Cleveland area and beyond for over 40 years. It all started with a dream of two sisters, Dorothy Green and Victoria Scott who decided that they wanted to become entrepreneurs and give back to their community in a meaningful way. They decided what better way, than to create a place for children, where they could teach, love, nurture, and instill positive values into their lives. From this dream The Center for Little Angels was born.

Dorothy and Victoria had a common goal in mind for the center, they wanted to provide excellent service at a reasonable price. They hired the cream of the crop educators, mostly retired teachers, offered exceptional educational programs, after school programs, and summer activities to keep the children engaged and always learning more. They also took great pride in their food program, as they knew that a balanced diet with nutrient rich foods played a critical role in child development. They hired the best cooks in town to prepare delicious and nutritious meals for the children and staff to enjoy. Parents considered The Center for Little Angels a home away from home for their children and could rest assured knowing that they were in good hands.

Dorothy and Victoria understood the value of hard work and dedication, and in the end it all paid off. Before they knew it, the center was bursting at the seams with children and they became one of the largest and most well-known daycare centers in the Greater Cleveland area. They truly lived up to their slogan, “babies are our business and we aim to please!”

As the years have passed, the next generation has been blessed to carry the torch forward. Dorothy and Victoria’s legacy and dream is still alive and the mission remains the same. To teach, love, and nurture children remains at the center of our core values. However, growth and forward thinking has led us in a new direction for the 21st century. We are proud to be one of the first childcare centers in the Greater Cleveland area to offer a STEAM based curriculum to our children. We believe that all children have a contribution to make to society and deserve a well-rounded education that will develop 21st century skills, and prepare them for the inevitable STEAM-forward future ahead. Our program is designed to stimulate and broaden the minds of our children and instill in them confidence and a belief that they are capable of conquering all that they set their minds to. Our goal is to create the next generation of leaders in the fields of health and science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, or any career they choose. When it comes to childcare we want to be the # 1 choice of parents and families!
